Not much experience with them but I think for sure you would have to be pretty patient, and open minded

One thing I have noticed actually. I used Findsomeone for 5-6 months about 6/7 years ago. My still email me with "matches" and occasionally over the past 5 years Ive been bored enough to click on one and browse around a bit..and on there I seee many profile photos that I remember from all those years ago Confused Like...heap[s of them, I think thats weird and stinks of their supposed 60/40 M/F split as being bogus

I do remember back in the day you used my photos to sign up to dating sites so that hot chicks will talk to you. So don't come here with "not to much erxperience" bullshit.

Yeah but I didnt do that for long, that brilliant plan of mine was somewhat short sighted Sad

Back on track if Ireally want to meet a bunch of people quickly ....I would just speed date. Would kind of suck having to bar up to attend but if you could get over that youd be meeting 6-10 new single people a night. Almost certianly much better/faster than the internet

Tbh if you're just looking to bar up just staying home online is probably faster. Not such a good look during a speed date too, don't you have to stand up a lot to switch seats?

Internet dating in NZ sounds horrendously depressing. London however, is fun times. Smile

I think it helps if you go into it with a more open mind and easy going attitude rather than "MUST FIND PERFECT MAN WITH WHICH TO BREED".

And I go walking for an hour and a half every day and pass other people on the street, but it doesn't seem to be likely I'll meet someone that way.

This raises something I've often wondered...would women want to be approached and "hit on" on the streets? Confused

Naturally as a guy, you'd never know if said women was single and looking or not, so there's a big gamble right there, but even if they are on the market and looking, is a random dude making an approach as you're just going about your day now going to creep you out a little? (exception being when said guy is a 6'2"+ Adonis then I'm sure girls would love it, otherwise, prob not)

i have a friend who will just approach women anywhere anytime, and start talking and eventually ask her out eg. at a cafe while she's sitting alone or at the supermarket etc etc, and he does very well for himself in that department.

If he was nice looking, had a friendly demeanour, had something he wanted to start a conversation with me about and was genuine I wouldn't feel creeped out. But if he was rapist-looking, sweaty, had a monobrow, was monosyllabic and lecherous.. yeah totally creepy!

I had one guy chat to me.. he's one of the bus drivers and he thought it was impressive I walked so far every day because he always passes me when he's going back and forth on the bus. He was nice, except he was about 60.

When guys "chat" to me while I'm with my daughter I dont appreciate that.. walked past a bus once by the holiday programme I was walking my daughter into.. the guy was like WOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW or something.. inappropriate.. I was just like "Make sure you drive this one "point to kid" safely" as they were going on a field trip WITH HIM the driver. Not cool Neutral Things like that I dont like.. when I took my daugther to the races also guys were like HELLO Pink Winky ummmm HELLO GO AWAY NOW.

Anyway that's a nice rant for you all to read and make assumptions that I"m a whore or something.

Kinda a catch 22 really...only a very confident guy would approach a random girl on the street, and ugmo's don't tend to have the confidence and bravado required for such a venture, so chances are any guy who does it would be a'ight looking really.

The approach line and lead into a conversation would be the tricky bit..."damn girl you got an ass I could bounce quarters off all day" probably ain't gonna cut it, right? Razz

What guys are single on Biggie? You should go out with Cyber_Princess ... take her out and report back on each other's dating style.

I'd love to be able to do it, know a few guys that do and do quite well out of it. The general idea is that if a girl is walking down the street, her guard is down, she's not expecting to be hit on, so if you can do it successfully you've already got past that initial barrier that girls have up in a typical pick up location like a bar etc.

I've been watching this guy's videos recently. He's not the most amazing looking guy in the world, but he works with what he's got (charm mostly, but I'm sure the camera works too) - http://vimeo.com/33995051

One of my great moments in hook up history was picking a girl up who was standing in line at an ATM machine in front of me... Hell of a drug.

Mine was walking up to a singer on stage while she was performing with her band, mid song, and passing her a note that had my number on it asking her for a drink after the show.

Hell of a drug.
