Disco was here again just now, didn't you catch it? Should be back again any moment now, I reckon it's all the pills but these kids have the attention span of goldfish...

Is it just me or are the same DJs who were playing mind-numbingly crap electro (often calling it tech-house) in Auck are now jumping onto either the nu-disco band-wagon or the nu-tribal (can't think of a better name) stuff that has, quite ironically, also got the ex-click-click-plink-plonk guys foaming over?

Groove is essential to playing both of these... something which electro has none of. It makes for some pretty dire listening when you people trying to fumble their way through this sort of music. It's like listening to an Australian MOS attempt at a tech-house mix.

Anything with "Nu" placed at the front really is suffering from small pecker syndrome.
It has to run around screaming "Im nu everyone, look at me!!"

Stoopid peoples go out and buy some disco after promising to look after it properly, take it for regular dances, and

HL, if I was listening to electro than I would understand the yelling, but since it was a "house act" (well I thought so at least)

ahh, the 'house acts'.. whats the bet they were playing nu-transparent-flamboyant-elecrto-four-beat. its the latest craze all the klids are cottoning onto. you have to redline the system to play it, and make sure the highs are tweaking and everything distorts. theres nothing a crowd likes more than ringing ears at the end of the night. i, personally, love being deaf for at least two days after a gig.
