Warning! This will not be a demonstration set. Be prepared for a full 2 hour plus session of jaw-dropping dexterity and supreme selection, from Canadas turntabilised wunderkid DJ A Trak. Exploding on the turntabilism scene at the tender age of 15 when he scooped the DMC World Championship, A-Trak is the single most exciting exponent of supreme skillsmanship on the 1's and 2's to emerge in years. By 18 he had amassed an unparalelled 5 world titles and decided that his competitive days were done; a collective sigh of relief was heard from battle DJs around the world. He has subsequently gone on to greater heights with his crew The Allies and associations with the likes of long time rosedy DJ Craze, Kid Koala, Invisibl Skratch Piklz, Peanut Butter Wolf and Bill Laswell. As will become very evident in his two-hour set A-Trak has mastered the elusive balance between technicality and musicality, with a maturity belying his years. Now utilising the Scratch Live technology he will explore new turntablistic territory on an inter-island jaunt that will leave heads reeling for sure. He's the youngest DJ ever to be inducted into DMC's Hall Of Fame and no slouch when it comes to the freshest tunes. You have been warned - DJ A-Trak will satisfy the technicians and move the crowd, resistance is futile.
