heres a review of armins last set in toronto last week!! taken from tranceaddict.com. if this doesnt make you wanna go to gatecrasher i dont know what will.......

Absolutely Incredible Party !!!
Armin - ROCKED !! Probably the best set of the year!
Generally, this was probably the best party I've been to
in my life !
Armin reminded me so much of Tiesto. The way he would raise his right arm up, telling the crowd to go nuts...the way he would smile...just like Tiesto.

Armin Van Buuren - wohooooooooooo, after Ian and Orkidea got me already blasted from my feet, Armin just continued 2 fuck me up, not gonna make ne comments, wonderful set by Armin, Armin cheerful as always, having fun with da crowd amazing set by Armin, it was like hard progressive, with some epic tunez 10/10 AVB, AVB, AVB! absolutely amazing Armin
what an amazing party.
armin has been easily my favorite dj for a long long time and oh so long have i waited for this day.

his set absolutly blew me away.
the whole set i was waiting for it.. i knew he was going to spin it.. he had to spin it and the second i heard those first few notes from communication i tear rolled down my cheek in happiness that the day finally arrived.

thank you everyone who went to this party for making it the very best one i have ever been to. the vibe in the place was amazing.
my only complaint is that armin should have been a bit earlier. but no worries

What a fucking kick ass night.. avb was totallly amazing.. probably one of the best sets ive ever heard.. it reminded me of Corstens set at the guvernment... totally amazing..

It was great seeing all the Tranceaddicts again, Swamper, red, richie, skybreak, tsi, shmacks, my brother haha.. and the rest of ya'll... !!*puff*

Armin totally pumped us up playing an amazing hard set with some great classics inside it like Binary finary 2000 (gouryella mix), and ending off with MAJOR LEAGUE - Wonder where you are(a fucking amazing uplifting anthem track)

armin is the greatest deejay of the day!!!!!!!!!
he really knows how to move the crowds.
and he is soo kind...... he signed me an autograph and i took a picture with him. i didn't realize he is that kind of person, his music really refglects his personality. in pvd's set, paul didnt gave much attention to the crowd. avb is the guy to beat!!!!!!!
keeep on movin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was then time for the main event - AVB was up next, and man he was AMAZING!! This must have been arguably the best set i've ever been to.(the other being Tiesto @ Kool Haus) AVB played all epic trance and lots of my favourite tracks: rapture, urban train, communication and much more!!

SEE YA THERE

Go LISA!!!

Show me a review like this for Lisa Lashes?

Yeah right!
[quote]
Now if you took a step back and had a look at the last two posts you would notice a slight difference.. the first Post is a snip of a review about a very credible artist, taken from an official trance website...
The second one is from somebody called moo (???) and it says "Go Lisa!!!"..

HaHaHaHaHaHaHa.. booooooooo

Well I know which one I'm up for...

[quote]
and I know which one Im up for!

so maybe its a good thing that there on the same night aye!

"GO AVB!!!"
[quote]
I'm quite sure I could find a review for Lisa Lashes if you wanted.
[quote]
amanda van buuren is a trance legend, and rated in the top 3 in the world... if you ask me (and who am I to comment), it would be a complete mistake to miss him... (especially if you already saw Lisa last year)... party on..
[quote]
OK! OK! I wasn't trying to offend anyone!
Just my taste in music I suppose.
nothing wrong with Lashes but when a DJ can bring you to tears thats a true experience!!
[quote]
It all depends on what style of music your into. Both Hardhouse and Trance appeal to differing emotions. Yes, a great trance set can be really emotional and fully lift u through the roof, but a filthy hardhouse set can be equally powerful just in a different way - with its sheer energy and an intensity on the floor so real you can reach out and grab it. Both Lisa Lashes and Armin van Burren are of fairly equal standing within their genres and are not comparable as djs on a genre to genre basis. I love both styles of music but Tidy Trax for me anyday - to those going to Gatecrasher have a great time.

good shit Haze, nice comment!
you can't compare!
[quote]
Oh Yay for Haze!!!

xxx (hehe) xxx

I'd still like to see a review of that calibre about Lisa...anyone got a New Zealand womans weekly?
[quote]
Moo, you sound like a school girl!
[quote]
How come Odyssey?
[quote]
Odyssey leave your schoolgirl fetishes out of this -thats my dept! hehe - havent seen u in crims in awile mate! You still buyin?

Snazzy - no doubting Armins class - he is internationally great. But in her (Lashas) defence, if you want Lisa reviews ask the 2500 or so who witnessed her at Slinky 2000..probably a slightly more reliable source than Internet writeups - 95% ive talked to said she was wicked.. I watched her recorded video of her last visit..technically brilliant, fresh storming choons (at the time), crowd interaction was intimate and inspiring
her set was pretty damn good if u ask me! No womans weeklys about it! Why does this have to be a competition? Go to the gig you feel youl have the best time at - both lineups are Huge, a massive night for the scene all round.
[quote]
yeah mate still buying, been meaning to pop up but just so busy, played up at jones last thurs & also 2nite so alls going well!
Have heard good things about you aswell dude getting a nice little fanclub!
I suppose im a trance fanatic so that would sway my opinion a bit, have heard alot of great things about Lashes since her last gig so full cred.
personally Ill be charging at GC but any nights a good night aye bro!
[quote]
actually I was at lashes last year and I didn't think her set was all that amazing. I agree that the crowd was a great crowd (and damn patient considering how overcrowded it was) although very young.....but hey that's hardhouse for you!

It's not a competition anyway, like you said Armin is all class, Lisa is a novelty prize Smile

Personally I don't really care what everyone else goes to, I'm just putting across my opinion - it is after all personal choice!

[quote]
Haze wassup!
[quote]
snazzy, are you a dj?
[quote]
Snazzy - totally & fair enuff Smile
yep agreed - the crowd was rammed, sweaty and heaving, actually I saw quite a few dirty old men there oops that was Sam Hill hehe Smile Have a good nite at Gatecrasher, post up what you thought of Armin Smile

Odyssey - Jones? all good! nice one mate, about time you got in there, i remember you buying some primo trance off me Smile good luck with everything & crank it hard at GC!
[quote]
Moo - haven't you heard of DJ Snazzy? I'm known all over the international circuit ;o)

Haze - will do, and will do Smile

peace
snazzy

try watching the vid.

"Armin van Buuren - Live From Club Eau (06-02-2001)"

It's a 175MB DIVX currently available from tranceaddict.com. If you can handle getting it, get it.

Tunes are well recognised as they are from earlier this year but it's a top clip and for those of you who don't know what you're in for, you'll get the drift.
