Are your friends changing?

A few of you may have friends that are changing from doing too much drugs, is it just me noticing things like that or is it actually happening????

specially after too much speed. that whole \"invincible asshole\" look, not a good one...

yeah watch mates become more moody consistantly, or gettin so sick of everything they just don\'t go out at all.....even noticed i have changed, so time to slow down and get back to being who i \"really\" am.....whoever that is....hehe

Are you stupid enough not to think that people will change after chemically overloading thier minds days after day with foreign substances?

Yeah, they should probably come with warnings - \'prolonged used of this....will cause you to withdraw, say dumb shit, and blame your problems on others, or not take responsibility for your own actions - shit.\'

I\'ve seen a couple of my friends turn into people
who screw their friends over to pay drug debts,
or to get more drugs.... I know one who\'s
absolutely lost the plot in the last few months...
but I suspect that\'s largely alcohol-related.
It tends to be people who weren\'t entirely stable
to start with, I think though....

Yup, seen it happen. Lots of moody friends, weightloss etc etc. Some of mine refuse to go ut unless they have enhancements of some sort. A bit worrying

I\'m not stupid enough not to think that, but I think that people are doing it too much unfortunately, and some of my mates just obviously don\'t know when to say when.

Yup - there are some people who I am no longer friends with because of drugs!

Of course they will feel depleted and be prone to character changes after chemically altering themselves. But there\'s no going back so you have to look at ways to increase happiness naturally. The best thing you can do for your over-indulged mates is take them to the beach and give them some sun. Too much hanging out in dark rooms will change anybody\'s personality.

people who cant go out and enjoy a night with
freinds unless they get on it, thats when u need
to have a long hard look at yourself!

oh yeah, i have a few friends that are so horrible to be with now i dont even want to know them. But they are still my friends so I bear with it - just.
Looking at them puts things in context for me tho - I know ill never get as bad as them because of the way they turned out.

The sad factor is that everyone has friends or know someone that has changed because of over doing it. The yucky thing is that now I see my brother, who is a few yrs younger, getting into the scene and already see some of his friends heading down the party too hard/asshole/no lust for life except when high stage... He\'s 21 but age doesn\'t matter in this game - it\'s more a case of experience the crap.

my friends and i won\'t really admit it to ourselves/each other, but it\'s becoming increasingly obvious that us all doing far too many pills is taking a toll on our personalities, and subsequently our friendships...

One of my oldest friends has become a serious p head. He wasn\'t the happiest of persons to start with but now he can be down right unpleasant...His NY resolution was to be more of a cunt, shot bro. He has all sorts of other probs which I tell him is cos of the p but he won\'t buy it.. Quite sad reall, but you can\'t help someone who doesn\'t want to be helped.

My friends aint that hard when it comes to the goodies, but I have noticed one or two biggies behaviour change in the last month. Already having a fews words with them.

seriously though, of all of the common club drugs, speed is the worst for you, mentally and physically...

wow guess the new years excess left alot of people with guilty conciences. wonder if anyone will be singing a different tune come the weekend?

CAT - this girl smokes a lot of p anyway but over the xmas break smoked way to much and ended up with chest pains and blackouts and trouble breathing. She\'s been in bed since thursday and is still there. The doctors said it was most probably the p that caused these symptoms.

I\'ve noticed some people inparticular change so much that friendships have been lost and some are just more moody.
There\'s a couple people I miss and used to have great friendships with but just cant seem to relate to them now.
But then again I\'ve probably changed to.

It\'s too easy to say it\'s someone else who\'s changed when it could be both parties.

Yeah speed and shit like that can really fuck with your heart, wouldn\'t be surprised if it can cause heart attacks. Binged on it a few times in the past and you can really feel the effect on your heart the next day (or wehnever it is you stop speeding).

people definitely change, and to be honest i\'m getting sick of the whole scene - more sick of the people who go to parties and stuff that think the aim of the game is to get as wasted as possible!! the \'scene\'s\' so fake really. still love the sounds tho. i\'m gonna take it easy for the next few months, chill with friends, swim, have bbqs, frolic at the beach and save some $$!!!
