Are the dairies any good?

In Japan every diary (or convenience store) has:

a fax machine
a thing you can plug your phone into and charge it in 5 minutes
a photo copier
ready made meals (pasta, sushi, curry etc) for about $6NZ
toilteries
alcohol

It IS pretty damn convenient!

How about where you are?

The diary's are average, the dairy's are ok tho.

they call them convenience stores, or 7-11's, etc. They're usually ok, except aussie is still backward with eftpos.

and they dont' stock kiwi food.

but in some areas there's loads of them and you can't walk 200 meters without coming across one....

yeah - dairys!! whoops

In Japan in EVERY single one they dont have EFTPOS but they do have cash machines. No joke, in EVERY one

$23. and ate it all. and then ate $12 of maccas for dinner when we left yours.

They are pretty good here....pretty much all of them sell alcohol as well! Not all of them take cards tho which is a pain in the arse. They sell the usual stuff but the bigger ones are all like mini supermarkets. The one on my road sells kiwi stuff too....grain waves, twisties, cheezles and L&P!!!

most of the corner shops here sell liqour..in fact all of them unless they have had their liscence revoked for selling buckfast and md20/20 the local underaged neds.....

I have to stop myself from calling them dairies as I get this blank look from the british. I just say the local shop/corner shop/offie.
