Anyone know anything about Catalyst?

Hey guys I'm heading down to Hamilton next weekend and we're looking for some clubs to check out. One of my mates is set on Catalyst but I have no idea what kind of music it has or anything. Does it have a website? Or can someone give me some info?

What sort of music you into or want to hear??

Its sposedly of the underground variety, but when you look at some of the gigs there you will find that it caters for a 'wide' audience. To put that into more detail, the club generally plays d'n'b, housey stuff, techno, breaks and ya hard house kinda vibes.

Soundsytem is ok, nice basement location, and a good bar. The upstairs part is pretty cool too.

I would also suggest checking liquid lounge if ya on a house buzz.

(actually if truth be known the soundsystem is old and crap and the red colour on the walls makes it look like a brothel!, or the inside of someones stomach)

But it would be one of the better clubs in hammy with a close 2nd being the Whitiora Camelia and Rhododendron Society, followed by the Hamilton and Surrounding Suburbs Philatelic Club.

But seriously worth a look

Cheers guys. I'm a bit of a House fan but into Breaks so it sounds cool. Is the downstairs venue open during the week also?

My pick for the week would have to be The Outback, Guaranteed a case of oral herpes or da clap and if your really lucky you might just get both.

But yeah if ya inta house breaks or whateva have a dance get bung and then experience The Outback... could change your outlook on life...
