Brought some decks almost 6 months ago now...
Had never even put a needle to a vinyl before that, so I had no idea what I was doing...
I printed some tutorials off the net and taught myself from there...
Since then, built a little collection of vinyls and just practise in my bedroom around 2-3 hours a night.
Played at a 21st @ Zebos the other night - Awesome fun!

Sure I can.... Some people say its easy, some say its hard... I definatly found it hard for the first few months try to match the beats etc... - I was all over the place.
A DJ who plays at Hullabaloo in the Hardhouse zone is a good mate of mine and he has been teaching me a few things to fine tune my skills... definatly been a big help... - And its not as expensive to get started as everyone says either...

Just let me know Heavenly when you want to give a go sometime and we'll get you started

I love Kitty's cd, i recorded the set (live @ Gorgeous @ Paekakariki last year), chopped it up, and made the cds with my own sweat and blood! (damn paper cuts)
