Anyone going to Tranz-mission?

I am. Should be great. Never been to Alexandra Palace either. It's supposed to be a great venue.

When is it? This weekend?

Yep. Saturday 7 April. Got my ticket last night. £45 VIP. Ouch. Should be a fantastic night though, going on reports from the last 2.

What a load of shit. Slammin Vinyl turned what is probably the most stunning venue for a party, into probably the worst party ever. Where do I start?
Over heating in the DnB area.
No cold water in the women's toilets. (illegal?)
Agressive security.
The most shite sound system, esp in the DnB area.
No effort with decor (except in the raindance zone)
Cross over noise between most zones.
No refunds on tokens.
Loads of underagers.

To top it all off I got VIP. £45 for Panoramic views, queue jump and access to the Kinki Malinki house room. Sounded great. BUT.
No seats in the VIP room. No view whatsoever, and the lights were on all night. Then, by midnight, they stopped checking passes and let anyone into the 'VIP' room.

Luckily I went with a great crew, and still managed to have a fun night because of good friends.

By really, SV need to sort their shit out. Never again will I go to a Slammin' Vinyl Party.
