Saboteurs for the last installment of Bomb The Base:

Lost Sequence - (Citrus Recordings, Siniuos Records, DSC14, Basswerk)

Based in Switzerland, is the DJ and producer combo phil d, amun-k and hide, who have known each other since the year 2000. They started DJing over 10 years ago and in 2001 phil got his own studio. In the summer of 2005, Lost Sequence was born. Their first big success came after one year of existence on the renowned Citrus label from the Netherlands, on this they celebrated their first release "Freak Wave" (in cooperation with Diz:play from Germany). That was motivation enough to get back into the studio and work hard with what resulted in a cooperation with Trace’s DSCI4 label on the LP “Spy Technologies – Part 5” aka “Codename:Echolon” with the highly dealt “Moonraid” alongside such big name producers like Optiv, Masheen, Axiom and Dementia. In addition to that, the production trio have played in nearly every club all over Switzerland. Now, that they’re looking into a bright future, they promise that there’s a lot more in store!

Forthcoming releases:
Lost Sequence - Full Metal Planet - Flight Recordings
Dizplay & Lost Sequence – Untitled - Basswerk

Charlie B a.k.a Channel One a.k.a Optimus Gryme - (Optimus Gryme Recordings, Bassweight Recordings)

Charlie B has been hiding away, making dubstep, hip hop & drum and bass for the past 10 years. He has spent a decade locked in a cave on an island somewhere in the pacific ocean, with only a computer and studio monitors. Although he has been locked away in a cave, he has been allowed weekend passes into 'the real world' on special occasions; these include birthdays, his wedding day (& wedding anniversaries), mothers day and DJ gigs. This has allowed Charlie B to flourish in his 15 years DJ career and has seen him perform at some of New Zealand's most reknown festivals like the PHAT parties, Groove in the Park and numerous Deep, Hard & Funky events.

Shift

Liam O'Daly a.k.a Shift DJ/Producer and instigator of the Drop Bass NZ promotion outfit based in Auckland started mixing Drum and Bass in 2005 then going on to learn methods of production in early 2006, which is around the same time he was introduced to and started playing around with Dubstep. Since this he has played at clubs and outdoor parties in and around Auckland, Queenstown, Nelson, Melbourne and also at the Phat 09 New Years festival in Inangahua. He has been fortunate enough to play DJ support for the likes of The Upbeats, Digital (UK), A Sides (UK), Organikismness, Lost Sequence (Swiss), Teknik, Cern and Charlie B. Generally his sound when it comes to both mixing and production will sway from the deep aspects through the darker side of funky beats with a bit of tear out gash clang gouge thrown in for good measure. Movement is a source of life, shift through music.

MC Step'a

With soothing, soulful vocals and cutting edge, conscious rhymes, Step'a will be out to compliment a selection of her favourite local producers and D.J's at the next Bomb da Base.
Keep your radar on for some LIVE delivery of up and coming pre-releases with Organikismness. Step'a is traditionally a drum n bass reppa, steppin into dubstep, and feeling the downbeat tip these days. The vibe is sure to be a dynamic flow reflecting the energy of both D.J & crowd. Step'a has dropped lyrics for the likes of Organikismness, Trizone crew, Undertow, N-Type and Loefah; and opened the renowned Phat 09 N.Y.E celebrations. Working with various local producers in the studio, be sure to grasp a taste of her varied styles LIVE for future reference...

MC Razorchest

With his right-hand-man/producer/boy genius 'Digikill', the two have recorded two low profile Albums, with the latest edition '3D Styles'. As the years and beers matured, MC RC has broken into the D&B Scene supporting the DropBass Outfit. Doing it for the love, this MC is the one to watch for future domination.

309Z Media

Since 2004 309Z has been deconstructing video as a Vj at dance parties in Auckland New Zealand.
Ever since 309Z experienced the awe of a Dj Shadow show was in auckland he has been fascinated by Vjing.
"It was like i had been asleep for years and I had finally woken to a perfect summers day" says 309Z
309Z after studying film and television was obsessed with the language of media and making films. He bought a low end video camera and went out and started making Lo-Fi films crash edited meticulously using VCRs in the tradition of Stan Brakage ,Len Lye and Nam Jun paik.
309Z's style progressed from Lo-Fi analoge loops discussing the "Central City Condition" by juxtaposing "The Structure of The City", against "the movement of light", In this period of 5 years he has created around 100 hours of original footage all on VHS and seemingly refuses to take the leap into the digital arena. 309Z's style now plays upon theory of metaphysics and the collision of media texts and theory, creating a style and asthetic coined by Redstar "HyperZen Glitch Pixelism".
309Z has played around 240 Visuals gigs in Auckland with some jaunts further a field through out New Zealand for such acts as
Outrage,Caroline Banx, Raiden, Headhunter, Starkey, Concord Dawn, State Of Mind, Timmy Schumacher, Angela Fisken, Paul Glazby, Spikey Tee, Dylan, Tech Itch, Robyn Chaos, Organikismness and a whole lot more.
