Howdy,

I am wanting advice on sequencers and obviously I am new to it. I have had FL as a demo for quite sometime, and I do not like how robotic alot of the instruments sound, but am also aware that I do not know how to use it all properly so maybe there are ways around that. Like the bass and the strings, all sound robotic or is that just the ones that come with the program?
I do not have loads of cash so is FL a good starting point to use as a drum sequencer, Midi program etc. I am wanting to record keyboards aswell, not just use it for a drum track, and maybe guitar?
I heard FL can be quite user friendly for a beginner?
If not can you advice of other programs that are easy to use..that are not too expensive.

Thanks

At the moment, I would tend to agree with the Ableton call...

Although, I use Cubase myself (for various reasons)...

As a sequencer I think Fruity Loops is one of the most underrated sequencers real easy and quick to use but a lot of people who used to tell me it was crap when I started using it were the ones trying to use it stock standard. Once you replace all the samples with your own it's hot. Music
But you shouldn't be using any sequencer with the stock samples. Razz
All my stuff is made with it.

Chek it here to get an idea www.mypace.com/maximusmillion and www.mypace.com/maximusmillion.

Look up some fruity tutorials on you tube to help you out as well
