ADSL/ Wifi for home?

Anyone suggest a router with wifi (pref N) that will not cause endless problems like the old linksys?

Home user.

All the cool kids I know are using either Airport Extreme or Timecapsules, or Netgear WNDR3700's along with external modem.

+Rock Solid
+Super Fast

-Not cheap
-No modem

I'm using a Belkin N1 and had no issues at all. Speed has been great and a lot more stable than the Linksys I used to have.

Yeah I'm a cool kid, been using variations of airport express for years. Real solid plus the wireless streaming o iTunes pretty much underpins my entire stereo setup

Hrm airtunes might work for my home, though I wish someone would combine wifi with power line adaptors.

But I need one for someone else that I end up supporting... I want cheapish and not full of issues.

I use a TP Link WR941N. Brilliant router :> Cost me $100 I think, can't remember where I got it :o

After further months of experience, the ultimate experience for DSL is this:

*Draytek Vigor 120 modem in PPPoE Bridge mode
*Apple Airport Extreme Dual Band router/wifi

Not the cheapest solution, but holy FUCK is it ever rock solid. Here's the number of reconnections in a previous bad month (each line is a day):


Now we're down to one or two a month. SOLID.
