Adding movies etc to itunes from hard drive.

Please help!!!

I would like to know if i can add files such as movies and tv shows which i have downloaded onto my hard drive into my itunes library prior to adding them to my ipod.

And if so...how!!!!!

on a mac I use Handbrake to make a movie into an itunes file.
I'm sure there is something similar on a pc if thats what you have?

Yeah you'll need to use Handbrake to convert downloaded stuff to something an ipod will read.

Handbrake is cross platform too.
