About to sit my drivers licence!!!!

any tips for me? I'm a bit scared, I hope the testing man is nice to me.

It's actually really easy. Just relax and remember to make it blatently obvious you are looking at your mirrors every 10 seconds or so. When passing pedestrian crossings, go like 30. And remember when over taking a stopped school bus, go extra slow, the speed limit for that is like 20kph but check in the road code to make sure. Make sure your car actually stop at stops signs for at least 3 seconds. Indicate when coming up to a round-a-bout and indicate out of it. Oh yeah...and don't crash or run over anyone. That's all I can really think of...good luck!

remeber if ur in manual! to put the clutch in wen going in to first.. i might know somebody who was focusing on everything else and forgot about the whole "clutch" thing oh and most importatly they are so STRICT on speed if u reach 60 u will fail! just sit on 50 or below to be on safe side

if you get a nice guy youll be fine. i fully stuffed up my reversing when i sat it, like not even close to the driveway, but he ticked it off and said "you've got the general idea" i went backwards but that was bout it. definately don't speed, but also watch you dont go too slow, 40k in a 50k area (unless you're stuck behind someone) can be interpreted as a lack of confidence. good luck!

Remember to try and run over as many cats as you can, beep your horn at as many people you can, and other general behaviour like that.

I got to the test (which I sat in my mums car). He made me drive around a few corners, round a roundabout and then he got me to pull over and reverse around a corner (I remembered my hazzards) then back again. all done.

My mum has just been drilling me about not driving outside the restictions of my licence. She's freaking out i'll hit a BMW and her insurance will not pay out.

yea, my mum was like that for about the first month, it will ware off, dont worry.
