he left NZ when he was 20 can came back when he was 40 then got married shortly after for his first time and he says:

"The New Zealand lifestyle leads to forming a partnership otherwise it’s hard to survive"

do you people think this statement could be or is true?

I'll come back to NZ to get married and have kids etc....but until then no way! I love the place but its like a retirement village compared to the rest of the world. I think you need a partner in NZ or you just get bored. So many people just want to be in a relationship, buy a house, have kids in NZ. Those kind of things just arent important to me. Maybe kiwis are just brought up differently. I think I'm just rambling really and missing the whole point....

I'm not quite sure what he was getting at, but if it's along the lines of that, in New Zealand, people are much more relationship focused than the rest of the world then no, it's not true.

The majority of the world are obsessed with relationships. Human nature really.

I don't think that New Zealand is any worse.

IMO alot of its financial, it would be really hard to get ahead in NZ without 2 paypackets..!! i find it a lot easier to save money here, plus my lifestyle is a lot cheaper which helps alot..!

I met my lady while i was travelling as well, so NZ didnt have that effect on me..!
