5.1 with ps3

Yays! I have finally (after much hdmi/optical/reciever issues) got my ps3 running in digi 5.1 with hd video!
It's fucking amazing, makes gameplay even better.

on the old model or new slimline model?

I realised a couple of months ago when I was watching a movie:

- Sony Pictures funded it
- Sony Bluray
- Sony Playstation 3
- Sony Bravia X
- Sony Speakers

How's your vertical integration?

Its an old 40gb model.
I had to use the optical out for audio, cause my reciever wont process audio via hdmi?!?!!?
But its working primo so yays!

Heh. Good point actually - I've had that a few times (sans speakers) without realising it. And people think Apple has a walled garden!
