100% Tiger viewing

Just watching the last round of the Bay Hill Invitational at work(tough day so far)and it amuses me to find that the tv coverage of the last round is entirely 100% Tiger...even in the add breaks they play tiger highlights. His playing partners don't get much of a look-in either. I guess they are making up for the 8mths he had off. But seriously, it can be frustrating if you're wanting to see any other playing near or in the lead. Although it has been noted before that tv viewing numbers are up when he is playing an event. The guy is pretty much a god in golfing circles so why not give god what he deserves.

Hes probably going to win this tournament even after staring the last rd 5 shots back.

Does golf need him more than he needs golf? Is he bigger than the game?

I made a thread moaning about exactly this about 2 years ago, Tiger saturation coverage is beyond ridiculous and personaly I find him and his thug bagman boorish and unpleasant to watch. That coupled with the fact he is often 6 shots + ahead on final days of tournaments makes watching golf holds much less appeal (for me anyway) since he has imposed himself on the golfing scene.

Golf was much more fun to watch when we had several different contenders with different styles /personalities / scoring methods creating dramatic close finishes rather than HO HUM watching Tiger grimace and over power yet another course and field. I fuckin hate the cunt and wish him serious injury. Enough already
