There will be 20 recycling stations located around the festival site and it would be hugely appreciated if you would make the effort to put your rubbish into the correct bins. Trash Palace will be located up near Camp HQ – so when you leave the festival please put your general waste into one bag, and your co-mingled (cans and plastic) in the other and drop it off at Trash Palace so the fine people from Smart Enviromental can recycle it! Our vision is to make Splore the greenest festival this summer – we need your help to do that!

If you need a lift or if you have spare space in your car and want some company on the journey then head to this site and register.
Your destination is Orere, Manukau City.
Help save the planet and make new friends – share a ride!
Due to the lack of interest we will not be running buses to Splore this year.
Coming by Boat to Splore
For those of you lucky enough to be coming to Splore by boat – please be aware that Tapapakanga Bay is good to anchor in only when there is no North Easterly, Easterly or South Easterlys blowing in. Otherwise you’re in for a rough anchorage and probably quite a bit of difficulty landing on the beach.
If you are coming by boat make sure you have your ticket to present when you arrive on the beach where we have a security and ticket team patrolling.
