Samsung's MV800 camera has won the 'Best General Compact Camera' at the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) awards cementing its place as the best all-round compact camera in the market.
Samsung’s trendsetting MultiView MV800, which launched in New Zealand in October 2011, features a range of innovative features. They include a handy 180 degree Flip-Out touch screen, a Smart Touch 3.0 interface with special effects “filters”, Smart Albuming and Smart Movie functions for greater creativity.
The camera is also fitted with a 16.1 Megapixel Schneider Kreuznach 26-130mm 5x zoom lens so users can capture great shots in perfect detail.

The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) Awards are recognised as the most coveted photo and imaging awards worldwide. Every year, TIPA editors representing 29 photography and imaging magazines across 14 European countries vote for the best photo and imaging products introduced to the market during the previous 12 months. The awards ceremony takes place at Photokina in Cologne, Germany in September 2012.
