Earlybird tickets have sold out via Ticketmaster and Post Shops. The last few earlybird tickets are available from Native Agent (Kinglsand) and Play (K Rd), but be quick as they have nearly gone.

FINAL CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FROM EMERGING ARTISTS FOR THE SPLORE ART TRAIL
We are calling for expressins of interest from emerging sculptural and installation artists from Auckland, Manukau, North Shore and Waitakere Cities for the Splore Art Trail. We are delighted to announce additional funding has been allocated from the ASB Trust towards the public art trail that then flows into the Splore festival weekend.
Splore invites artists from the above mentioned Auckland regions to create installation and sculptural artworks for the park environment, to be expereienced as an ‘Art Trail’. We are looking for artworks that are site and situation aware, setting-up strong relationships (friendly, responsive and interactive) with the natural park environment and strong interactions with visitors to the site. Artworks may be static and reflective of their site or artworks may intimately and physically involve the visiting audience in their construction, installation and/or activation. More fantastic acts announced
In association with the British Council, Hexstatic will be joining the already fantastic Splore line up. Voted No 1 VJ act by British magazine DJ Mag, Hexstatic will be be performing in Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin before their final show at Splore 06. You can expect a loose mash-up of classic electro, trademarked Ninja funk, pilferings from the pair’s underground programme, sneaky samples and enough good humour to leave you smiling sweetly at the end of the night
Fort Knox Five (US) fuse live instrumentation with electronics to create a funk-driven sound and their production style has been called upton to remix artists such as Tito Puente, Louis Armstrong, Tower of Power, A Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Dynamo Productions and Mo’Horizons
Hollie Smith has been turning heads on the NZ music scene with stand-out collaborations and performances with Trinity Roots, Fat Freddy’s Drop and Recloose. She surely is one of NZ’s greatest divas and we are delighted to have her join us at Splore 06.
