The mad love triangle of Fu, Tag & Breakbeat has spanned many years and brought to fruition appearances by some of the planet’s top breakbeat artists including The Rogue Element, Madox, The Breakfastaz, Aquasky, Meat Katie, Auasky, The Autobots, Deekline & Wizard, Tayo, Koma & Bones, NAPT, Ba…obinga & ID, Rennie Pilgrem and Skool of Thought.
It also spawned many nights focussed on local talent (and by talent we do not mean aesthetically speaking for it is generally understood that Auckland’s breakbeat DJs are some well ugly sons of bitches) and it is with this in mind that the lineup for Fu’s 11th birthday celebrations was put together.
Bringing together some of Auckland’s breakbeat stalwarts and some of the sound’s newer (but lets face it, probably a load better) faces this will be a night of big ass basslines and slammin’ breaks – and all at the proper tempo!
